Slitting Blade

 How to save the slitting blade?

The slitting blade, also known as the disc blade, is a slitting tool used in the slitting equipment of the metal sheet industry. It is named because the upper and lower two sets of tools are longitudinally occluded and slit. Generally, 9Cr2Mo, 9Crsi, Cr12MoV, 6CrW2Si, Made of H13, H13K, and LD, high-speed steel, and cemented carbide, they have undergone a complete set of vacuum heat treatment and cryogenic treatment to ensure uniform hardness.

Components: blade, rubber gasket, spacer.

Uses: An important component of the sheet metal slitting unit, used for the slitting of thin plates, suitable for large steel manufacturing plants, steel pipe plants, non-ferrous metal processing plants, strapping material plants, cold rolling plants, packaging materials plants, steel plate processing service centers, Steel screen plants, strip steel plants, slitting machine manufacturers, etc.

Introduction to the maintenance and maintenance methods of the slitting machine:

1. Add oil before using the slitting machine. There are a total of eight press-in oil marks on the reel of the decoiler and winder;

2. Pour all the lubricating oil before the slitting machine is used. Vernier;

3. Periodically check the abnormal noise and temperature rise of the bearing part of the slitting machine, and re-apply grease if necessary;

4. The nut and bearing of the sliding table of the slitting machine are lubricated with grease;

5. The table of the slitting machine Add a little oil to prevent it when moving the slide.

How to improve the wear resistance of slitting blades?

1. Conventional surface treatment methods, such as the use of unconventional surface quenching methods and laser cladding methods (the alloy powder of the coating is mostly Ni, CO-based self-fluxing alloy or coarse-grained tungsten carbide or laser thick layer melting. This type of method is more suitable for working conditions with high abrasive wear, such as mining tools such as mines, petroleum, agricultural machinery, etc., and its disadvantage is that it is easy to produce defects such as cracks.

2. The disadvantage of the coated slitter blade is that the deposited coating is thinner.
